4 |
1 – Create 4 columns.
2 – List all grades for all courses in column 1.
3 – Convert the letters to numbers (A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1 and F=0 and write these numbers in column 2.
4 – Different courses have different credit values. Some examples are; full year courses are worth 5 credits, half year courses are worth 2.5 credits, Phys Ed can be 3.75 credits or 3 credits and health can be 1.25 credits or 1 credit. List the number of credit hours of each course in column 3.
5 – Multiply each value in the second column by the value in the third column and write the answer in the 4th column.
6 – Total all the numbers in column 3 for the total number of credit hours attempted.
7 – Total all the numbers in the 4th column.
8 – Divide the total of the 4th column by the total in the third column. Your answer should be between 0 and 5. |
